Holy crap, awesome! XD There I was having a crappy day and suddenly I get pointed to this



Huge pageview spike! I jumped from my chair and did a little jig. As you can imagine this is my first and probably last DD ^_^;

So I wanna thank *SlyDante for suggesting it in the first place. He does an awesome job getting us lil people in the know and I gotta say I feel tremendously flattered. Thanks of course to ^Damaged927 for actually featuring it XD.

Sooo moving on, as some of you probably know I'm pretty much back and hoping to produce a steady flow of artsies concerning my comic project, Dawn of Irratica. This time I mean it D8. I've got like, everything ready D8. So, I'll be seeing you all around : )

Ok, i origanly saw endzone on unknown persons account and after reading it for a while i relized... i have no idea whats going on! if you could clear up some stuff for me that would be much appreciated.

first: who started this comic and where should i start reading it?

2nd: how dose it jump around from author to author? it's kinda hard to follow the story when it's all broken up.

last: is there a place i can read all the pages in one deviant art acount?

I think I can answer those questions! If you don't mind.

1. Endzone was a tournament created by `Endling back in 2007.

2. Its a tournament therefore, each round there are artist's that are pitted against eachother in comic battles. After each round and judging one passes to the next round and the loser's story is omitted(there can't be two different stories contradicting eachother) artist's eventually climb up the ranks till there are finalists, in this case lan-kun and Unknown. Unknown won endzone though.

Tournaments are amazing in this case, for they become a mass collaboration of story, told by many artist's.

3. Er, no but you can check out Endling's previous journals (just go back around 16 pages in their journal archive) to see the past rounds (the start [link]) (the roster [link]) (round 1 [link]) and find out who was in it, and their entries(though some deleted there old rounds) Its just as good to read certain key people's things, that way you get a good grasp of what was going on. Cuz I mean there WERE 64 people in this thing and not all of them were that great.

thanks for that. so i read the 1st round comics and i understand a lot more. but it also raised a few more questions, i hope you don’t mind.

artist are paired up to make comic strips that pit each against other one another? then the comics are judged and one artist's story moves on. this goes on until the stories converge and a winner is chosen?

If your asking for reassurance then, basically yeah. The stories converging isn't really part of the rules but its what makes a final epic and is what makes this fun, not to mention gives you points towards a win.

Don't just stop at round one man keep going! XD

You did a great job on endzone! Its sad that you lost... But UP´s Climber animations was a hard enemy. I think it was a well deserved victory... But your version is just as awesome! I really want to see your ending...
